Getting Here

By Car: 

Leave Guatemala city via the "Atlantic Route” on Highway CA-9. When you reach the village “La Ruidosa” turn left onto the Highway CA13 by following signs to Flores. Nuevo Horizonte is located on the left hand side at kilometre 443  about 10 minutes past the city of Chal. Average travel time: 8 hours.  

 

By Bus:  

From Santa Elena (or Flores)

Go to the bus terminal where you will find micro buses going to Poptun. Tell the driver you wish to get off at Nuevo Horizonte and they will stop there for you. The fare should be 10 Quetzales. Average travel time: 40 minutes. 

 

From Guatemala City 

It is recommended that you book your ticket in advance by going to one of the many bus lines that run to Flores including: Rapido del Sur, DNA, and Gold Line. Tell the driver you wish to get out at Nuevo Horizonte, kilometre 443 and all will be well. Average travel time: 8 hours. 

 

By Air: 

We are located 35 km from the international airport, Mundo Maya de Flores (FRS). Flights arrive daily and once you land we can either arrange for someone to pick you up or you can take a bus from Santa Elena.
